Meet the Team
Erik Brown
Co-Creative Director/Lead Videographer
Erik “the Yellow Buddha” B is a digital content producer who creates free and accessible academic video for the likes of MIT, Boeing, and others. So while the bourgeois think he’s doing work, he is actually instigating proletariat uprising by educating the masses (jk?). He approaches the creative process from a very Schrodinger-ian approach- there is something amazing in that proverbial steel chamber that is just begging to proven to be.
Jehovy Santiago
Lead Photographer
My goal is simple: to capture a piece of history through the eyes of other artists that have a passion they want to bring to light. I started doing photography as a hobby. Over the years, my passion for photography became so strong I decided to self-teach myself everything I needed to know to build Jehovy Photography. Currently, I photograph for a variety of clients, ranging from creatives, politicians and real estate agents.
Ben Bocko
Videographer/Photographer
Ben Bocko is a photographer, filmmaker, and actor working out of Brooklyn, NY. He began his visual career in Boston, MA in 2008 while studying photography, film, and design at the Lesley University College of Art and Design. His love for stories, people, and experience is what drives him and his work forward.
Julie Mahdavi
Production Assistant
Julie Mahdavi is currently pursuing her Master's of Fashion Studies at Parsons the New School for Design and has been involved with The Common Thread Project since Fall 2015. My name is Romel. I’m a filmmaker and writer, who likes bringing projects to life. My favorite part of the creative process is taking an idea from paper to an actual film or photo. I'm always looking for opportunities to work with other creative people.
